The Cause
1 Samuel 17:27
And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?
David was facing seemingly an insurmountable giant but by Gods grace the giant fell!
Here in the PNW we are facing a giant also, this is the giant of decline in churches, attendance, recruitment, soul winning, and effective discipling. By Gods great grace and us answering the call, these giants will fall!
John 12:23-27
And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it, and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me, and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. Now is my soul troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this casue came I unto this hour. NKJV
Jesus came for this cause, Jesus came to lay down his life and to bare much fruit! He calls us for this same cause!

1 Peter 4:6
That is why the Good News was preached to those who are now dead-so although they were destined to die like all people, they now live forever with God in the Spirit. NLT
Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. NKJV
This is what the Cause is all about!
As the Holy Spirit leads we shall go throughout the PNW and make disciples, planting churches wherever the Spirit leads.
The Cause is a time for our fellowship to come together quarterly at the same time as our District Board Meeting.
